William Yaudes Obituary

William W. "Bill" Yaudes

June 2, 2025

Tyrone, Pennsylvania - William W. "Bill" Yaudes, 72, of Tyrone, passed away after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Philipsburg on March 26, 1953, the son of the late Harris W. and Margaret I. (Hostler) Yaudes.

Bill married Sue A. Campbell on August 7, 1976 in Tyrone.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sue; a son, Aaron (Hannah) Yaudes, and a daughter, Kari (Dan) Hostler. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Owen, Ellie, and Campbell; and a sister: Marlene (Sam) Potts.

Bill was a 1971 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He retired as Vice President and Regional Market Manager from Kish Bank. He was also a member of the Rotary Club.

He enjoyed golfing and was proud of his recent hole in one on April 16, 2024 at Sinking Valley Country Club. He liked watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers and following PSU sports, especially Lady Lions basketball. The thing that Bill loved most of all though was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he adored.

At the request of the family, no services will be held.

Contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the Greg and Cathy Griffith Foundation Sideline Cancer, 309 Allegheny ST, Suite 5, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648. Arrangements are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc.

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Bill at Melon bank on College Ave. He was a great guy. I remember he always took the time everyday to say good morning to everyone individually and always asked how we were doing. He will be missed.
