Was saddened to hear of Red's passing. Worked with him for many years at the shipyard and he was always upbeat/jovial. I'm sure all the guys from Code 2320 will remember him fondly. May God Bless.

Father Tim, Tony, and family,

I know Fr. Tim and Tony (and his family) and wanted to send my sincere sympathy to you.

A few times I brought the Eucharist to your father at Trident Hospital. This is when I met your father and mother. Then I saw where you got your wonderful caring qualities.

I will be praying for all of you during this loss.

So sorry to hear about Red's passing. I worked with him in the shipyard for several years. He was always jolly, always ready for a good joke, but was also "down to business". I remember when he caught the huge catfish up on the canal; Red's head got bigger than the fish's due to all the publicity he earned. He would show me rocks and gems that he and his wife would collect from his trips in the North Carolina mountains. He certainly was an avid outdoorsman. May God bless him and his family at these tragic times. He will certainly be missed.

Dear Libby & Kids,

I was sorry to read about the loss of George. He used to carpool with my dad Jack Moore to the shipyard and they'd swap fishing stories. I remember some years back when that picture of George with a huge catfish was in the paper and I wished my dad could see it.

And what fond memories I have of babysitting your children in my high school years. What a wonderful family you have and I know you are a comfort to one another at this sad time in your lives.

In deepest sympathy,
Elaine Moore Schupp

I ran into "Red" a couple of times after the shipyard. He was as happy as ever! He was truely a good guy.
In 1995 his son was the priest at my daughters marriage.
Red rest in peace and good fishing.
