Andrew Gentile Obituary
Mr. Gentile, age 89, of Charlotte, formerly of the Bronx, New York, died Thursday, July 22, 2004 at White Oak Manor Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 26th at 11 a.m. at Salisbury National Cemetery.
He was born on October 5, 1914 in Boston, Massachusetts and was a WWII US Army Veteran. His wife, Mary Gentile, preceded him in death.
Survivors are his son, Larry Gentile and wife Susan of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Donna Phiffer of Charlotte, Kristina Battle of Wilkesboro, NC, and Andrew Gentile of Sunset Beach, NC; and 7 great grandchildren.
Arrangements by McEwen Funeral and Cremation Service, Charlotte Chapel.
