Ann was one of my oldest and dearest friends. we met 50 years ago in Martinsville Virginia when our husbands worked for DuPont. They both went on to different companies but we always kept in touch.

Our children were the same ages, and we would vist them and ski at their home in Plattekill NY.Roger would make his famous breakfast in a great big frying pan and Ann would have giant pots of Chili for their 4 and our 5 children. At night we would sit around the fire and play charades. It was a wonderful place to be. We watched the children grow and have families of there own, rejoiced with new grandchildren, and cried when my husband Allen died.

Ann was always busy with a new project, making flags, quilts and stamping designs. She was a devoted wife to Roger and patiently helped him these past few years.

Good bye old friend, I will miss you. Love Mary Lou
