Charlotte, North Carolina - Roberta "Carol" Adams, 55, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. She was born in Anderson Co., SC on November 3, 1970, to the late Robert C. "Bobby" Adams and Phebe H. Adams.

Carol was a 1989 graduate of. Seneca High School (SC) and a 1993 graduate of Queens College where she graduated summa cum laude while obtaining degrees in English and Communications. After college, Carol started her career as a producer with NBC News in Charlotte. She later went on to start Mad World Media as a media consultant doing video production.

Carol was also a graduate of Johnson and Wales's University where she perfected her passion of cooking. She started Intentional Kitchen where she created freshly prepared meals for her clients. Carol also combined her passion of cooking with her love for travel and worked as a chef on private charters all over the Caribbean.

She lived her life on her own terms and described herself simply as a humbled and grateful chef, writer, producer, comedy complimentary.

Carol is survived by her brother, Roy Edward "Eddie" Adams of Seneca, SC; nephews, Gregory and James Adams and her beloved dog, Josie.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
