Anna Hamaty Obituary
Born October 1, 1928 in Morann, PA to the late Paul Bezilla and Lenore Bezilla, she was a graduate of Franklin School of Science and Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Anna Lenore loved music and art, and was skilled at gardening, home remodeling, and decorating. She worked as a medical assistant and secretary, volunteered at schools and activities for her children, was active in many different churches over the years, and a real presence in every community in which she lived.
Mrs. Hamaty was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Jerome and Raymond.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dr. Daniel Hamaty; son, William Luke Hamaty and wife Dawn of China Grove, NC; daughters, Kathleen Lenore Hamaty of Evansville, Indiana and Susan Lenore Hamaty Daniels and husband Lewis of Westbrook, Connecticut; and brother Paul James Bezilla and wife Cindy of Montoursville, PA. Also her grandchildren: Kathleen Chambers, Hollie Phillips (Aaron), Heather Hobby, Jenny Hobby, Jamie Priddy (Josh), Christopher Daniels, Roger Daniels, Patrick Troutman (Amanda), Daniel Hamaty, and David Hamaty, and great-grandchildren: Kai Chambers, Noah and Lilly Troutman, Cohen Beckwith, Ethan Worman, Amber Counceller, Avery and Aurora Phillips.
Mrs. Hamaty was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Salisbury, NC. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's on Monday, August 14th at 10:30 AM. A reception will follow.
Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church Choir Fund, 131 W. Council St., Salisbury, NC 28144.

Please accept my condolences. Please know that the God of comfort feels your pain and sorrow. He actually provides something better to look forward to. Jeremiah 29:11 specifically tells us God wants to give us a peaceful "future and hope." He promises in the near future all the pain and sorrow you are experiencing about your loss will be gone and we will be able to enjoy perfect life with all our loved ones.
