I only met Anne a few times, but a reflection of Anne and her family that will always stay with me occurred at one of Katie Wicker's and Katie O'Neal's sorority functions. We were all seated for a meal and Anne looked so beautiful. She was smiling and talkative. Her sister Katie sat beside her. They both seemed to be enjoying the moment. I remember thinking, "What beautiful sisters and what a wonderful family." My heart aches for you and I lift you all up daily in my prayers. Dale O'Neal

Most of my memories of Croasdaile Country Club Pool involve Anne and the Wicker family once they moved to Durham. Anne was a true inspiration to so many people. Her smile was contagious! She will truly be missed. Mr. and Mrs. Wicker, Sarah, and Kati my thoughts and prayers are with you!!

I am shocked and full of sorrow to hear of Anne Marie's passing. She was briefly my grand-sister in Kappa Delta and I loved her in the short time that I knew her. I'm so glad to know of her loving family and know that I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers for as long as I am able.

Anne Marie will be dearly missed. I was one of her classmates at Queens and sorority sister for the time we had her be part of Kappa Delta. There aren't enough words to say what a wonderful person she was and how much joy she brought to those around her. Praying for her family in this difficult time.

I can remember going to the hospital one year in our creative writing class so Anne Marie could have secret Santa with us. She never had anything less than a huge smile on her face and was always more than grateful , she was and IS an inspiration to all , this just proves God only takes the best. God bless her and her family she was truly an amazing woman

Anne Marie was a vital part of our LifeGroup at Forest Hill and will be greatly missed. She will be remembered for her strength and love for the Lord. We know she's dancing above us now :)

Words fail. Anne was a treasure beyond belief. An example of a life well lived under extraordinary circumstances. She was a gift of love to all who knew her. Anne I know you are dancing with your Heavenly Father and I will see you robed in His glory! Anne was my second grader, and I loved her dearly. Teachers aren't suppose to have favorites but she was my favorite. Anne's body may not have worked like everyone else's, but she worked like everyone else, only better. This little girl was special, her family was special, and God had a hand in the Wicker family. Anne ended up teaching us all, and I will never forget her! RIP Miss Anne!
