Marie and children. Rose Mary and I just heard about Tony's passing this evening from Bob Tritten. He will be sorely missed by everyone who he ever knew but especially his loving family who he loved so very much. Just knowing Tony and you and enjoying your company socially during the 15 years we lived in Charlotte were an important part of our lives. We are glad you have your children close by to console you during this terrible time. Our love and prayers are with you.

What a great guy Tony was! We shared all sorts of stories about history, movies and restaurants. Although I tried to outdo him in the "latest joke department", somehow he always managed to have one that was always just a little bit better than mine. Tony was a warm and colorful person that I shall never forget. A great big "Thank you" to his family for sharing him with everyone.

Tony will always be kindly remembered in our family. He cut the hair of my sons and nephew in his home after the shop closed and gave them their first haircuts. Prayers for joyful memories to push away the tears of grief.
"How far to Hollywood and how long till you get there?" greeted those young men and his jokes were stories were part of the fabric of their youth . We are glad to have known him- The Dixons and sons,
Neely , Groves and also cousin Chris and Mimi

Marie, Dan, Michelle, Carla, and Mike - I heard about Tony this morning. I am so sorry, but somehow that just sounds so inadequate. I wish i could be there today, but I'm out of the country right now. And while I know this is a bit out of context, I find it comforting - In my Father's house are many mansions...I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14:2)

I love you guys.

To all of Tony's family, I offer condolences from myself and my wife, Laura, who made it possible to be aquainted with a man I will never forget because of his intelligence and humor that always made me feel like part of the family; especially when he would whisper a joke in my ear at family gatherings.

Michael and family,

I hope you all will remember the good times and family fun you had with your dad. Keep those memories close and you will feel that smile when you think about him. The few times I was around him he was quite the funny man ~ Like, when he wanted to shave my head because he thought I would look good bald :) You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Michelle, Brian and Family,

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I remember him fondly from all the get-togethers we used to have when the kids were younger. I always loved his sense of humor and wry wit. I know you will miss him dearly. I can definitely relate to your pain right now. My dad passed just two weeks ago. The pain is still fresh, so I know how much you are hurting. If there is anything we can do to help you through this, or if you just need to talk, we are here for you.

Michelle, Brian and family,
At a time like this words are so very difficult to express what is in my heart. Fathers are a special gift and your dad was in a class all by himself. How blessed you are now knowing that you have a new special angel in heaven keeping watch over you. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
