Antonio John Manna
STALLINGS -- Mr. Manna, 87, of Stallings passed away June 3, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. Born September 15, 1922 in Italy, Antonio was the son of the late John and Letzia Cerbone.
A Celebration of Antonio's life will be held Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Weddington with Pastor Ed Thomas officiating. Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
Antonio loved to follow all sports, but his favorite was the N.Y. Yankees. Mr. Manna worked for the NY Transit Authority where he retired after 25 years of dedicated and loyal service. Spending time with his family was very important to him especially his Sunday evening dinners with four generations gathered around. He was married to the love of his life, Lillian for 62 years. Together they had three children Cheryl Nelson, Debbie D'Aquila and husband John, Lori Faiello and husband Michael.
In addition to his wife Lillian and their children, Antoniois survived by grandchildren Tracy Baker and husband Clay, Christie Espin and husband Steve, Steven Faiello, Lia Faiello, Dara Cowhig and husband Danny and Dana Carlino and husband Charlie; great grandchildren Reiley Baker, Landon Baker and Kayla Carlino.
Mr. Manna was predeceased by his parents and one son-in-law, Bruce Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 8600 Potter Road, Weddington, NC 28104.

Dear Aunt Lillian,

Our deepest condolences go out to you at this time. Uncle Tony will be missed, but we know Grandpa and Uncle Joe will take care of him now. Please send our condolences to the rest of the family. Take care of yourself.
