Charlotte, North Carolina - Mrs. Beverly H. Smith, 82, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on March 22, 2022.
Beverly was born on August 3, 1939 in Greene County, Indiana, only child of Norman "Joe" Hays and Elizabeth "June" (Wright) Hays.
She has been preceded in death by her beloved husband William "Bill" Smith, her parents, Joe and June Hays and a great-granddaughter, Cadence Young.
Mrs. Smith was a Registered Nurse for many years. She enjoyed playing bridge, participating in the book club and shopping. Beverly was a huge American Idol fan and she enjoyed attending their concerts. Beverly was a breast cancer survivor. She dedicated her life to her family.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen E. Young, Christopher H. Young (Elizabeth) and Anne Tallent (Jeff); 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
