Dear Family: I deeply regret not being able to attend the Homegoing Celebration of Mrs. Johnson, due to circumstances beyond my control. However, please know that your family is in our prayers. Aunt Johnson was a spectacular lady, full of life, vigor and laughter. She will be deeply missed. I shall never forget the day that Sherry introduced me to other family members. She made it clear that meeting members of the family that I had not met was incomplete until I met the Johnson Family. As you have always been a very constant support to us, we endeavor to do the same for you. Shall you find strength in the weeks, months, and years to come. Anthony, Brittany, and Anquanette.

To Kiva Johnson and Family,

There will come a day when your tears of sorrow
will softly flow into tears of remembrance...
and your heart will begin to heal itself...
and grieving will be interrupted by episodes of joy...
and you will hear the whisper of hope.

There will come a day when you will welcome
the tears of remembrance...
as a sun shower of the soul...
a turning of the tide...
a promise of peace.

There will come a day when you will...
risk loving...
go on believing...
and treasure the tears of remembering.

A memory is a keepsake of time that lives
forever in the heart. May your treasured
memories bring solace during this time of loss.

Dearest Judge Clif and beloved Children,
Please know that each of you have been in my thoughts and prayers and will remain there for a long time to come. I hope that the knowledge that your beautiful Wife and lovely Mother is now with OUR FATHER will give you peace in this difficult time. I offer a prayer given to me when I lost my Father suddenly..
Thou knowest the sorrow that fills my heart. Comfort me under it. Make me look beyond this short life, which lasts only through our journey here on earth, and realize that it is the beginning, not the end. Thy love and mercy surround Thy children here and go with them through the gate of death that leads to eternal life. Let me not sorrow without hope. The one I love has gone but a step from me and still loves me, and we are still near each other in Thee. Guard us both, for Jesus' sake. Amen and Amen.--I hope this helps you the way it helps me. God Bless-Always. Margaret and Ginny Woolard.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of your mother. My mother died three years ago and I know how difficult it is to experience the death of a mother. Please know that God will supply all of your needs and just lean on him during this time of great sadness. Please know that if there is anything that I can do for you and your family, I am just a couple of doors away!

To My Uncle Clift; and My Cousins: Jay, Clift, Khiva and Allah

I thank God for all of you allowing me to be a part of your family. God knew what he was doing in August of 1969 when he placed me and Yulonda (affectionately known as Jay to me) in the same kindergarten class (with Mrs. MacDonald) at Our Lady of Consolation. And after 38 years we grew from friends to family. Look at God! I will miss Aunt Joyce! Know that I LOVE YOU! You are in my thoughts and prayers and I will see you soon!
