Sincere condolences to Chamos Pride Tate's husband, son and entire family. She and the Pride family were a bright light in the Charlotte community in our early years of life. Her dad, Mr. Pride, gave job opportunities to many young people in Charlotte years ago. God Bless you Mr. Tate and your son Austin.

You are very much missed. Though we didn't talk to each other much, I always remember you and Jaren hanging tight at Garinger. I will always think of you in a loving way.

I will always remember Chamos as a fun-loving, free-wheeler with the smile that lit up the room. Until we meet again.

To the family of Chamos, I send you my sincerest sympathy. I never met Chamos and wish that I had that opportunity. However, because of my dearest and closest college friends and Sorority sisters Zoe, Delcia, and Lorena, and of course our beloved Doris, and their sharing of fond memories from childhood, the Dean Street crew, great times, joy, and love of Chamos with me, I knew her. On the day that I heard of Chamos' transition in Delcia's church service, I immediately contacted Delcia, Lorena, and Zoe, even asking Lorena to send me a picture of her. There Chamos and Lorena were, sitting side by side in Jack and Jill as little girls! I share all of this with you because I love them, support them, and through them and their close, knit relationships with Chamos, I love you and support you! May the love and sweet memories of Chamos be with each of you. And, may you know the same love that Jesus Christ has given to you as well to each of us! Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted! May God bless and keep you!

Raymond and Austin, I am so heart broken to hear of Chamos' passing. She and I have been friends all of our lives. We were in school, Girl Scouts, dance and Jack and Jill together. We graduated from high school together, and would visit when I was in town. We talked occasionally and always found time to catch up. She was so proud of you, Austin. I will continue to keep you both in my prayers.
