To The James Family,
Today we celebrate the Life and Homegoing of Dr. Charles James. His legacy lives on through his children and through ALL the many lives he touched. It was both an honor and a priviledge to have known him. He and his wife, Gwen, opened the doors of their home to guests and we reciprocated on one of the stormiest snowy evenings at Easter time in Virginia. We will never forget that fellowship. May the fond memories of Dr. James live on in everyone's hearts forever. Please accept our condolences. We are here for you.

In memory of a wonderful sensitive man and great doctor. During the racial changes in the medical field, Dr. James was paving the way for future doctors. He walked the halls of the hospitals early morning and late afternoons caring for his patients. He made house calls for many here in Charlotte. He was a very humble and loving man. He always had encouraging words and a gentle smile that would brightened anyones day. He loved to take pictures of church activities and give them to church members. May God bless his family and know that he will be greatly missed.
