Christopher Davidson Obituary

Chris Davidson STATESVILLE - Christopher Alan Davidson, "Chris", 55, of Statesville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at his residence surrounded by loved ones. He had been diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma in July of 2013. Chris was born in Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 5 1959, to Max Douglas Davidson and Jane S. Arronson. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Erin Nicole Davidson. Chris graduated from Garinger High School in 1977 before attending UNC Charlotte. He was married to Sandra Davidson on April 1, 1983. For over 30 years, Chris was self-employed as a roofer and contractor. He founded Chris Davidson Roofing and Contracting in 1981. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by one daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Davidson of Statesville; one sister, Pamela Davidson of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Mark Davidson (Linda) of Statesville and Doug Davidson (Leslie) also of Statesville. He is further survived by a number of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service for Chris Davidson will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at First ARP Church, 123 East Broad Street, Statesville, with Rev. Phillip McCoy officiating. A private burial will be held prior to the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, March 26, 2014, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home. Nicholson Funeral Home is serving the family of Chris Davidson.

I found roof and shingles warranty letter from Christopher in my parents files. He did an excellent job installing a new roof at our home off Eastside Drvie, Statesville ,NC. My condolences to the family.
