I grew up with Lori and we were quite close for many years. I didn't hear about Christopher's death until a year had passed. My heart still can't believe what my ears heard. I have just buried my stepson's second friend, in five months, this morning. The death of a child is impossible to understand. I know that Chris is hanging out in the clouds keeping watch over all his friends and family. He was always such a loving kid. I continue to pray every night for Ronnie, Lori, and all of Chris's family and friends.

God Bless,

We would like to thank everyone for all the wonderful, loving support that we received during this terrible time. Everyone's love and kindness carried us through. We will miss Chris terribly but we know that he is in heaven and that we will see him again someday. Chris was always happy and smiling and we want to remember him that way. We will miss him but he will always be in our hearts. We are grateful for the 20 years that he was with us. We have so many happy memories of Chris and so does everyone that knew him. We remember his smile and his laughter and his sense of humor. These are the things that will remain with us until we see him again. We know who our Guardian Angel is now. Ronnie & Pam Lewis

On Oct.27-2002 Christopher Scott Lewis, our precious and loving grandson was taken away from us in a car accident. He had just gotten off work at Estes Express were he worked third shift.Chris was loving and sweet always coming to Burlington when he could,to see his paw-paw and maw-maw.He always came on holidays and his birthday. He would always call before coming to ask me to make him a German choc. cake his favorite.Chris was so special to us,and we will always have a void in our hearts. He will be missed by all his family. We know Chris is in heaven, waiting on us to come and be with him.I am sorry, and my heart goes out to the families of the two ladies in the other car. I'm praying for them and hope they will fully recover from their injuries and will forgive Chris for what happened.Chris would have never hurt anyone beyond his control.

In loving memory of our grandson Christopher

I'am Christopher's aunt Susan and, I miss him very much. Chris was the first grandchild and he was special to all of us you could not help but to love him. Even though he lived in Charlotte and us here we all loved him and cherished each moment we had with him. I am so proud to have Chris as a nephew even though he was here only a short time. We miss him so much but, we also know he is in heaven our special angel watching over us with that special smile.

Lori and Ronnie, My prayers are with you, I am so sorry for your loss. I of course, know what you are going thru, since my pain is still fresh with the loss of my beautiful son, Troy. I hope the love and prayers of your family and friends will help you. I know I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for all the wonderful people in my life and of course God. I wish I had gotten to know Chris, as he got older, I am sure he was a fine young man. Please take care of yourselves. I will call you after awhile. Love, Bea, Danny also sends his love.

Chris was my best freind, he was like the little brother I never had. I will always remember all the crazy and good times we had together. I only wish we could have had more time. His life on earth may have been short but his spirit will always be with us. Chris will never be forgotten. I'll miss you.

Even though I was probably just his friend's girlfriend, Chris was a friend to me. He made quite an impression on me. He always seemed to go out of his way to be nice to me or to say hi. He was such a good spirited, respectful, kind human being that will be very missed by everyone who knew him. I only wish that I had gotten to know him better than I did. His time here on earth was short but impacting.

Although I did not know Chris personally, I wanted to write to you. Heather is a friend of mine through my son, Artie, who died in Sept. 2000. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time. Please remember the 20 years that you had Chris, and not just the day that he left you. This seems to help as time goes by. You can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. Phil. 4:13. This verse has helped me through many difficult days. May God bless you and your families. Love in Christ, Becky Weaver

AS WE ALL GO THROUGH LIFE AND GO ABOUT ARE DAILY TASKS WE SELDOM THINK OF THE IMPACT OF EVEN THE SMALLEST INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER PEOPLE. CHRIS WAS A WONDERFUL YOUNG MAN AND ALWAYS BROUGHT A SMILE TO MY FACE WHENEVER I SAW HIM. I REALIZE THAT HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM, BUT I CONSIDER IT AN HONOR TO HAVE KNOWN HIM. NO ONE KNOWS HOW LONG HE OR SHE WILL HAVE ON THIS EARTH BUT IF YOU UTILIZE YOUR TIME AS CHRIS DID YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO WONDER WHETHER OR NOT YOU TOUCHED OTHERS LIVES. WE WILL DEFINATELY MISS YOU KID.

RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED,

BRIAN S. BILETNIKOFF (FIANCE OF PAMELA )

Although we did not know Chris, our hearts are heavy with saddness for the lost you are going though.

Know that you are in our prayers and thoughts and we are only a call away if you need anything.

No one is ever ready to give up a loved one, it is hard when they have lived a long and happy life, but to lose someone so dear and young makes it even harder...

May God keep your family in His Tender Loving Care.

Chris was a super person. I will always remember him for his winning personality and tender heart. He was loved and missed by so many people. I will always remember a trip we took to the beach. We really got to hang out alot together and get to know each other. When two familys merge into one it can be very difficult but with Chris it was easy. I wish that his time here hadn't been so short. I know that he had alot more to experience and to share with otheres. He will be missed dearly but I am so glad that I got to spend the short time that I did with him.

My husband, Johnny and I, are Heather's uncle and aunt. Chris came to several family events with Heather and we had welcomed him into our hearts and our family. He was always so polite and pleasant to be around.

It is truly a shame that his life was cut so short. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Please know that we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers through this time. May God bless and keep you in His love and give you the comfort and understanding that only comes from Him.

My husband and I both work nights at Estes in the office. We will always remember Chris as being a genuinely nice, friendly, polite young man. We feel fortunate to have known him (though it was only through our work relationship). Our hearts are heavy. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
