Clara Lingle Obituary

Clara Estridge Lingle, 79, of Charlotte, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2003 at Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville. She was born on September 7, 1923 in Mecklenburg County, a daughter of the late Clarence Dixon and Flossie Mae Hargett Estridge. She attended Berryhill Baptist Church, and retired from Colonial Bakeries.
Survivors include her children, Larry W. Harmon and wife Karen of Lake Wylie, SC, Randy Thomas and wife Ruth of Dallas, NC, Troyce Craig and husband Dan of Clover, SC; stepchildren, Lawrence Lingle and wife Nancy of Roanoke, VA, Terry Bradfield and husband, Glen of Mooresville, NC, Franklin Lingle of Charlotte; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her huband Samuel Lingle in 1986 and her sister Ruth Biggers in 1988.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at Sharon Memorial Park with The Reverend Charles Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army, PO Box 31443, Charlotte, NC 28231.

I'm so sorry to hear about Aunt Clair but I beleive she is in a better place now. No pain and a world of happiness. Just remember that you have so many people who care about you and we will always be here for you when ever you need us. May God give you guidance and strength in this time of mouring. Please remember we love you.
