Daniel Miller Obituary

Daniel D. Miller GREENSBORO - Daniel D. Miller, formerly of Charlotte, died January 26, 2015, in Greensboro, NC. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Anna and Daniel Miller. Dan attended the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War with the FS 8611 Army Security Agency in Baumholder, Germany. He was a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and was employed by Rexham Corporation in Matthews, NC. He was a past-president of Senior Scholars. He is survived by his wife Lois, son Steven (Lisa), daughter Linda (Shepherd) Hester, five grandsons, and his sister-in-law Charlotte Miller, of Saratoga, CA. A memorial service will be held February 7 at 1:30 pm in the Francis Chapel of Myers Park United Methodist Church. A reception will follow the service. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Assn., 3800 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215.
