Dan was funny and loved making people laugh. He also had a huge heart. Always full of antics, he's added a lot of fun to volunteering projects. He was amazing at putting a smile on my face, always had a kind word to say, and his decision to keep in touch over the course of the last several years has meant the world to me. On behalf of the volunteering community who was lucky to have worked with him, he really is a bright light and we will all sorely miss him. Special thoughts and prayers to the family. Dan is so loved by so many.

Dan will be missed. His heart was bigger than life. He was my friend and mentor. He always called me "kiddo"! Even though we were the same age. I was going to Arkansas to visit him but I will wait to see him when my name is called. He always had a problem with sleeping. He can finally sleep in peace.
