Daniel Pearson Stahlman WAXHAW - Daniel Pearson Stahlman, 45, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, died Monday, September 12, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born January 3, 1971 in Glendale, California the son of Donna Rae Wasson and Howard Ralph Stahlman. Daniel lived in Papua New Guinea before coming back to the U.S with his family, moving to Waxhaw, NC. He graduated from Parkwood High School in Waxhaw, NC and from Johnson and Wales in Charleston, SC. His career took him to many places both on the east coast and outside the country. Daniel had a passion for people and for the culinary arts and was able to merge the two for many years as a chef. He was quick to share his life and talents with others and was a truly generous, kind man. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed reading, travel, and serving others which included involvement in relief work with All Hands Volunteers. Daniel is survived by his sister Susan Lindholm of Waxhaw, NC; his brother David Stahlman of St. Paul, MN; his sister Kathleen Stahlman of Matthews, NC and his loving nephews, nieces, other family members and many, many dear friends. A memorial service will be held at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, 8600 Potter Road, Weddington, North Carolina at 10:30 a.m. on October 8, 2016.
