Darryl Miller Obituary
December 27, 1940 - September 27, 2022
Milton, Florida - Darryl G. Miller, 81, passed away September 27, 2022 at Baptist Heart and Vascular Institute located in Pensacola, FL. Darryl was born on December 27, 1940 in Curtisville, PA to Albert and Irene (Craft) Miller and was raised in Curtisville, PA where he was a graduate of Deer Lakes High School, class of 1958. Darryl served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965.
In 1967, Darryl married Carol Ann Delaco in Beaver, PA where they lived and raised two sons. He was a great fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting.
Darryl was a long-time employee of Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Eaton Corporation, Circuit Breaker Division where he managed their High Powered Electric Test Labs.
Darryl was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Irene Miller and his brother-in-law, William McAlpine.
Survivors include: his wife of 56 years, Carol Ann; two beloved sons, Paul Andrew and Darrin James of D'Iberville, MS; sister, Donna Grace (Miller) McAlpine of Rochester, NY; and brothers-in-law, Ron (Hope Stoneback) Delaco and Rick (Janet Lorden) Delaco. Darryl was always proud of his nieces and nephews: Debra (McAlpine) Dodge, Cynthia (McAlpine) Baron, Robert (Patricia Graves) McAlpine, Amy McAlpine, Dr. Kelli Jo Delaco, Holly (Justin) Delaco-Smith, Josh (Robyn Mcleod) Delaco, Katie Delaco (James) Shartzer, Jacob (Vicky Shamiya) Delaco, Miles Delaco, and Taylor Delaco.
His military funeral will be private at the request of his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Heart Association or Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

Darryl will be missed and remembered, he was a reasonable person and took time to laugh. I am glad he had enough time to enjoy retirement.
