Some time have passed since Darryll passed away and still tears may flow without much advance warning. Be patient with yourself. And do not feel that you have to hold back the tears. Remember, they are a natural and necessary part of grieving. Do pray and remember Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart;
And those who are crushed in spirit he saves....Pslams 34:18

To The Bolduc Family-Just yesterday I became aware of Darryll's passing. Please know that these quiet words express sincere condolences and I will truly miss his positive outlook on life, his genuine support and both his gentle and not so gentle humor. We shared a belief that business had to get done but at the end of the day a loving family counted for so much more than the rest of the clutter of life. What a treasure you have lost and we are so sorry for that loss.

Aw, Duck, you have no idea what a lasting impression you made on the multitudes at St. Paul's School. Aside from being a gifted athlete, you were an Olympian friend. Always there with a hand out to others, you were the *go to* guy for anyone needing a laugh, a hug, an extra peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the coffee house. Heart as big as Texas, and a brain to match. You were a rare combination of the two...filled with integrity and grace and compassion. And true to our school prayer, you were always "eager to bear the burdens of others." Duck, wherever you are now, long may you skate on black ice. Will catch you on the other side of the rink, buddy. To the family and friends of Darryll--- I knew Darryll as a fellow attorney and friend in the Lake Norman area. Even though I am a little older than he was and had practiced much longer, Darryll was always much more helpful to me than I was to him. He was always someone I could ask a question of, or ask for his opinion or guidance in his areas of expertise. He gave it freely and in a humble way. I admired him so much for starting out a law practice in mid life and in such challenging and complex areas of the law (corporate wrongoing, wronful termination, securities fraud). Most of us want to work for someone for awhile. But due to his life experience and personal convictions he was more than up to the task. He was for the "little guy" as a plaintiff's lawyer. He stood up to the bullies and "Goliaths". He gave people hope and someone on their side in their toughest times. So, even though I don't know his family, I admire them too, for having a hand in creating such a fine man. My heart goes out to all of you. I will never forget Darryll.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Darryll’s entire family and many friends. His sudden departure is crushing, I’m sure.

My formative years were joyfully spent with Darryll as a roommate, linemate and close friend at SPS. He had an incredibly fun, friendly and immensely likable aura about him. He was a character like no other. Since our SPS days, thinking of him has always brought a smile to my face as we shared many belly laughs during our four years together.

While we all grieve Darryll’s passing, we all, I’m sure, have great stories to tell for having known him. I know I’ll forever be thankful for the time we shared and will cherish my memories of him forever.

To Darryll's family and friends: I want to add my name to the long list of people whose lives were touched by his. I was his roommate freshman year at Brown and his teammate, as well. A lot of time has passed since those days, but I remember clearly his vibrant, good-humoured, fun-loving self, always hopeful, always trying to win. He will be sorely missed, never forgotten. My sympathies to all.

To the Angie and the Bolduc Family.

Please accept our deepest sympathies on Darryll's passing.
He was a true and trusted friend whom I met when I moved to Charlotte in 1993. He immediately made me feel like we'd known each other for years, making me feel welcome in a new and different city. That relationship never changed.

We came to enjoy many a day on the golf course, at Carolina Panther games, the US Open @ Pinehurst, a few Happy Hours and our annual get together for "Christmas Cocktails".

He will be soreley missed, but will live on forever in our memories.
See you on the other side pal.

Angie,
My heart hurts for your loss. Darryll Bolduc was a good man, a good attorney and a person with values. You and your children were fortunate to have him in your life. I am so very sorry that it was such a short amount of time. It was a good feeling this past summer when I met you at the yacht club pool. I watched both you and Darryll interact with comfort and ease. That is the last time I saw him. I will respectfully remember those happy moments with all of you together.
With sympathy to you and Darryll's entire family,

I met Darryll about a year ago and

It is with great sadness, that I learned of the loss of Darryll. Growing up in Maine, the "cousins" would often be together for family gatherings. Darryll was always diplomatically looking out for the younger ones. We were always protected within, -the total brigade equalling 25 cousins. He will be in my prayers.

I have no doubt Hillory and Noreen will be at the front of the line.
We'll be in touch when you get back to Maine.

It saddens me greatly to learn of this terrible tragedy. My prayers go out to the family. I've known Darryl for almost two years and he's always been a super nice guy to me. I gave him the pet name of "Adrian," which always made him laugh. It's my understanding that he's a very good attorney and from our conversations, I know he worked hard for his clients. This tragedy is a loss to the legal community and the lake.
