I ALWAYS NOTICED DAVIDS SMILE, HE GLOWED WITH HIS SMILE, AND HIS FUNNY FACIAL EXPRESSIONS ALWAYS CRACKED ME UP.I HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING DAVID FROM THE EARLY 80'S. HE WILL BE MISSED VERY MUCH BY MYSELF AND ALL THE MANY MANY FRIENDS DAVID HAD.REMEMBERING THE WHITE VAN AND THE MOUNTAIN TRIPS WE TOOK WITH OTHER FRIENDS, WE LOVED THEM HILLS,AND WATER FALLS. DAVID IS IN HIS HILLS AND COMFORTABLE AT PEACE LISTENING TO THAT WATER FALL AND ALL THAT SWEET SCENT OF THAT MOUNTAIN AIR. ONE DAY I'LL GET THERE AND SEE YOU AGAIN. TO HIS ADORABLE SON LEE, WE ALL LOVE YOU TOO. KEEP YOUR BEAUTIFUL SMILE TOO.YOUR DAD IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE WITH YOU.

I met David at Our Place, 1980, sitting out back at the picnic tables. The first thing you noticed about David was his good looks. The second was that grin. Oh, how we will miss that grin. In the yrs that followed that special meeting I have had the thrill of going on adventures with David, & our friends. One time it was so cold in the mountains that we couldn't even start a fire. David loved the mountains. We rode the wheels off that white van going to the hills to hike in sub-zero weather. David has gone to the hills where he has always been the happiest and he's listening to old old bluegrass talking to the animals. I will miss you DP.

I am so sorry for your loss. David was a very unique person. During a very uncomfortable time he was the only one to reach out. He had a very tender heart and I will truly miss him.
