David Wynn Obituary
HARRISBURG -- Mr. Wynn, 45, of Harrisburg died Monday, August 18, 2008 at Hospice House of Cabarrus County. He was born on March 10, 1963 in Winter Haven, FL to Oliver Benjamin Wynn and the late Mary Tipper Wynn. He was a subcontractor in the cabinet installation business for Marsh Cabinets.
David is survived by his wife of 23 years, Frances "Fran" McConnell Wynn, sons Tyler Wynn of Boone, NC, Matthew, Seth and Shawn Wynn of the home, daughters Kayla and Shay Wynn of the home, mother-in-law Billie McConnell of Huntersville, NC and brother-in-law Bill McConnell of Laurinburg, NC. Along with his father and step-mother, Beryl Wynn, David is also survived by brothers O.B. 'Ben' (Valerie) Wynn, Jr. of Merritt Island, FL, Ricky (Bernie) Wynn of Lake Wales, FL and sister Cindy (Chris) Mabee of Las Vegas, NV as well as several nieces and nephews. David was a wonderful husband and father and will be sorely missed by his family as well as many dear friends.
A memorial service will be held August 23, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Williams Memorial Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC with the Reverends Carol Hassell of Williams Memorial and Dan Hester of Harrisburg Methodist officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Wynn Children's Fund at Williams Memorial Presbyterian Church, 4700 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216 or to the charity of your choice.
