Donald Earl Freeze
'Don'
MOORESVILLE -- Mr. Freeze, 80, of Mooresville, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Genesis Eldercare.
He was born on August 24, 1929 in Mt. Mourne to the late Earl Oakery and Daisy Gabriel Freeze. He was retired from Burlington Industries and enjoyed gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Joe, Homer, Cecil and Tom Freeze; and infant brothers and sister, Noel Kenton, Paul Allen, and Mary Clara.
He is survived by his wife, Nadine Kerley Freeze; son, Ronald Freeze and wife, Penny of Mooresville; brothers, Boyce Freeze and wife, Debbie of Mooresville, Rufus Freeze and wife, Deborah of Gastonia, Larry Freeze and wife, Betty of Denver; sister, Linda Freeze Morrison and husband, Frank of Mooresville; grandchildren, Ronald Freeze, Jr., Alex Freeze, and Elizabeth Freeze.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the Freeze family.
