Charlotte, North Carolina - Donald Ross Seawell, 92, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025. Don and his sister Mimi grew up in Sanford, NC with their parents Henry P. Don enjoyed outdoor sports, community theater and music. His wide-ranging interests and experiences included fast boats and cars. He was active in the Little Theater of Charlotte during the '70's and '80's, and he was a tenor soloist and member of the Chancel Choir at Myers Park Baptist Church.

Don is survived by his wife, Jane R Seawell, children Tracy Bowman and Michael Seawell, grandchildren Jonathan Bowman and Neil VanSciver, and a great-grandchild, Cadence Bowman. He is predeceased by two sons, Philip Ross Seawell and Donald Ross Seawell, Jr. Interment will be in the columbarium wall at Myers Park Baptist Church, and a service will be held there on Monday, July 28th, 2025 at 11:00. Jane, and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. It has been quite a while since the days when Don and Sam exchanged humorous greetings, but I've never forgotten them. Again, please accept my sympathy.
