Doris Kraemer Hill

MARION -- Doris Kraemer Hill, daughter of the late William Homer and Emily Kraemer Hill, was born December 17, 1910, and died the 16th day of January, 2003. She was predeceased by a sister, Bonnie Mae Hill, who died November 29, 1964. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marion where she grew up and where her grandmother, Sara People, wife of Paul Kraemer was a Charter Member when the church was organized July 21, 1862.
When she retired from a long banking career on December 31, 1975, she opened and operated Doris Hill Realty on South Main Street in Marion.
She is survived by one sister, Elwyn Hill Evans, one nephew, William Hill Evans and his wife Katherine Condyles Evans, and two grandnieces, Anne Kraemer Evans and Sara Katherine Evans, all of Marion.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Westmoreland Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery on Monday morning, the 20th day of January at 11:00 AM.
