JOHNSON Dwayne Kenyatta Johnson, born February 5, 1977, a resident of Mobile, AL ascended from this life Wednesday, July 1, 2009. A 1996 graduate of Washington County High School and member of King's Chapel Baptist Church, Dwayne obtained his Commercial Driver's License and worked in his field as an owner/operator. Touched by many, Dwayne leaves to honor and cherish his life and memory; his mother, Deborah Johnson; a son, Antquane Johnson; brother, Antlowine Johnson; one step brother, Joey (Takima); two step sisters, Evangelina, Shawn (Barry); grandparents, Thomas (Estella) Johnson, Maggie Wimbley; two uncles, Ernest (Lisa), Leroy (Dorothy); two aunts, Donitha (Ira), Sharron (Neil); devoted friends, one closest and most loving and dear; close confidant, Willie (Joveeta), Alvin (Tonya), Fred; father-figure, sprirtual advisor and mentor, Rev. Bobby Ray Bolton; father-figure, mentor, Clyde McGrew; spiritual advisor, mentor, Rev. Cleo McGrew; mentor, Vert McGrew. Also celebrating Dwayne's life and memory; a special host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. Several family members preceded Dwayne in death; great grandfather, Sam Wimbley; great grandparents, Albert (Lottie) Ridgeway, Thomas (Lettie) Johnson; grandfather, Dec. Sam Wimbley, Jr.; sister, Tammy. Home Going Celebration to be held Saturday, July 11, 2009 at King's Chapel Baptist Church, Yarbo, AL, 11:00 am, with burial immediately following at Payne-Hamilton Cemetery, Millry, AL. Final arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home 1302 St. Stephens Rd. Prichard, AL.
