Earl Steele, Jr.
MARSHVILLE -- Mr. Steele, 54, of Marshville, died Thursday, March 18, 2004 at Presbyterian Hospital-Matthews.
Funeral is 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at Christ Bible Teaching Center-Marshville. Bishop David Allen, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Public visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Grier's Chapel-Monroe.
The family will be at 831 Flake St., Apt. 40, Marshville. The body will lie in state.
Survivors include wife, Mrs. Lavern Knotts Steele of Marshville; sons, Earl Steele of Lancaster, SC, Trevor Steele of Burlington, NC; daughters, Ms. Shelby Steele of Lancaster, SC, Ms. Octavia Pepper of Maudling, SC; brothers, James Steele of Rock Hill, SC, Leon Steele of Rock Hill, SC; sisters, Mrs. Anne Adams of Washington, DC, Mrs. Gladys Brice of Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Margie Steele of Corinthan, TX; step-sons, Calvin Knotts of Marshville and Larry Knotts of Marshville; and daughter, Ms. Amanda Anderson of Marshville.
Grier Funeral Service, Monroe, is in charge.
