Eda Ragone Obituary

Eda Erine Ragone
Mrs. Ragone, 87, of Charlotte, died Friday, March 25, 2005 at Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville.
Eda was born December 25, 1917 in Bakersfield, CA, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Hilma Erickson Frankson. She was a self made woman, working as a model, gourmet cook, seamstress and hairdresser. Eda was also known as a very direct person, 'who meant what she said and said what she meant.' Mrs. Ragone had been a Charlotte resident since 1996, moving from New Port Richey, FL.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; daughters, Gunnel Lee Greenhagen and husband, Richard, of Charlotte, and Jane Adele Berrong and husband, Richard, of Riverhills, SC; sister, Linnea Leo of Citrus Heights, CA; grandchildren, Michelle Wenzl, Erik Greenhagen, Alec Berrong, Heidi Kirschner, Adam Greenhagen and Sharon Greenhagen; and four great grandchildren.
Services will take place on Monday, March 28, at 11 AM at the Chapel of Camp Thunderbird, Lake Wylie. Interment will follow thereafter at Sharon Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
