Edith Trausneck Obituary
Ms. Trausneck, 90, a patient at Mecklenburg Health Care Center, Charlotte, died March 19, 2010.
She was born in Harmony, NC, was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and was married to the late Dr. William M. Trausneck. Long time Virginia residents, they retired to Statesville, NC, in 1980, and then moved to Parkwood Retirement Center in Elkin.
She is survived by their son, William M. Trausneck, Jr., and his wife, Patricia, of Marvin, NC and daughter, Patricia Clanton of Harmony. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Harmony Cemetery in Harmony, NC, with the family receiving friends after the service.
Reavis Funeral Home of Harmony is serving the family of Edith Trausneck.
The family wishes to express appreciation to Dr. George Hall and the wonderful staff at MHCC for their exceptional care of Mrs. Trausneck.
