March 16, 1944 - November 3, 2023
Rock Hill, South Carolina - Mr. Edward Marion Hull,79 passed away on Friday November 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday November 8, 2023 at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church, 421 Oakland Avenue, Rock Hill, SC with Rev. Dr. Kathryn Summers officiating. Visitation with family and friends will follow the service in the church parlor.
Born in Rock Hill, Mr. Hull was the son of the late William Martin Hull and Elizabeth McDowell Hull. Mr. Hull was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who married his high school sweetheart and just celebrated their 57th year anniversary. After college, he served 2 years in the Army completing his service in Germany. He then finished his MBA and begin a 31year career at Jefferson Pilot Broadcasting retiring as President of Jefferson Pilot Sports.
Mr. Hull is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Annette Hull, three sons, Ted (Jonathan Bradley), Jeff (Jody Rimmer) and Philip (Jon); two grandchildren, Henley and Wells; his brother, Dr. William Martin Hull (Anna).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Edward Hull's name to Oakland Avenue Presbyterial Church, 421 Oakland Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29730 or the Alzheimer's Association 4600 Park Road, Ste 250, Charlotte, NC 28209 or at alz.org.
