Fred Stitt Obituary
Mr. Stitt, 75, of 4050 Redwood Avenue, Charlotte, died September 27, 2003 at Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2003 at New Mowing Glade AME Zion Church. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m.
Mr. Stitt retired from Harris Teeter. He is survived by his wife, Jessie Stitt, daughters, Kay McKnight and Darlene Benton (Jerome), sons, Fred Stitt III (Angela), Nathaniel Stitt and Curtis Stitt (Monica), stepson, Robert Digsby (Debra), sister, Viola Daniels and sister-in-law, Lucielle Stitt, all of Charlotte.
Grier Funeral Service is serving the Stitt Family.

To the Stitt family,We was sorry to hear of the passing of Bro.Fred
Stitt.You have our deepest sympathy. It was a joy to have known Bro. Stitt and to be his pastor for 5 years.He was a tremendous help to me in my ministry.He was very sincere and love the Lord and the church.We will miss those hymn of the church
that he could sang so well.He is now singing in Heaven Choir.
Mrs.Stitt God grace is sufficient to keep you His strength is made perfect in weakness.He will see you
and the family through.May the blessing of God be upon you all.
