FORT MILL -- Mr. Gary Joseph Nagle, age 60, of Fort Mill passed away November 9, 2011. Gary grew up in northeastern Ohio in the small town of Monroe Falls. He graduated from Kent State University with a Master's degree in Philosophy. Eventually he moved to the Carolinas in 1979 and has resided in Fort Mill, SC since 1996. Gary has served as a member of the Tega Cay council of the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce and as President of the Palmetto Plantation Association. He always enjoyed a good round of golf with a few friends or his grandson. In his earlier days Gary was a chef for the President Gerald Ford. Always a wiz in the kitchen, he made the best Italian food. He had his own realty business, Plasma Realty. He passed away a grandfather, father, son, brother, and a loving husband.
A Funeral service for Mr. Nagle will be held at 2PM Saturday November 12th, 2011 at the Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gregg Faulkner officiating. The family will receive friends from 1PM - 2PM at the Chapel prior to the service.
Mr. Nagle's survivors in addition to his parents Joe and Evelyn Nagle of St. Augustin, PA are: His wife: Kim Faulkenberry Nagle; two daughters: Noelle St. Hilaire (Dan) of Charlotte, NC and Deanna Keller (Jonathan) of Fort Mill; one brother: Wayne Nagle of Tallmadge, Ohio and 4 grandchildren: Hannah Keller, Alexandria St. Hilaire, Christopher St. Hilaire and Abigail St. Hilaire; also his best friend Vinnie.
