Even though I have been in broadcasting for 35 years, I find it difficult to express my feelings in the loss of my friend Tim. The past ten years of his friendship have been great. Even his passing will not remove those feelings from my life. "The Tour", our spring and summer charity golf outings, will never be the same. Tim truly cared about others and tried to find a way to make life's bumpy road a little smoother for those less fortunate. His big ole smile and wonderful sense of humor will never be replaced. I miss you, my friend. Rest in peace. And, may your drives be long and straight, your putts always true, and may you always be 'under par' on that Heavenly golf course.

To Tygre, Wes and Wendy...you'll always be in my prayers and thoughts.

To the Woodin family:

Growing up in Georgia in the 70's, Tim Wood showed me the difference between good & evil, right & wrong. In a day when it is hard for kids to find a hero - I had mine in Mr. Wrestling.

I knew Tim for only 12 years. I got to know him through his business but we became friends. I understand that that's what happened with most of his customers...they became his friends. I will miss him and his constant smile.

Tim "Mr. Wrestling" Woods was probably my favorite wrestler from the great years of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. The fact that he was also a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ was an added blessing. To me, he always epitomized a gentleman and a role model in a sport where too few role models are left in this day and age. May God bless and comfort the family in this time of loss.

Tim will always be remembered for his smile and great friendship. We shared a love for the Three Stooges comedies and I will remember Newton , Iowa where we met for the last time this year. Those memories will be forever etched in my mind.

Good friends are like stars....

You don't always see them,

But you know that they are always there.

Rest in peace my friend and when those final bells are rung for me... tag me into Heaven with you.

Tim's contribution to Professional Wrestling will always be cherished. He was often imitated, but never duplicated. In a world that needs positive role models, Tim served as a great role model, and will surely be missed.
