Miss Gracie was a great woman, I worked with her a short time. But I feel blessed to have had that chance. She needed someone to listen to her and just sit and talk with her, she was lonely, and she was my special friend. People like Miss Gracie make my job worth it all. Thanks for everything, and God Bless. Donna ( the farm girl )

I kenw a lady with alot of class and style, God put me with her for just a little while. Her name was Grace Chambers, but I called her Miss Gracie. She was sweet and could be silly, she thought I was funny and crazy. She had a nick name for me too, it was Donna the farm girl. I enjoyed sitting with her, we were in out own little world. We laughed, we talked and we sang, she told me storied about when she was younger, she told me of her love for her dear mother. She told me how she met her husband, its a great stort to hear, she had many stories to tell, about her younger years. She loved her brother Tom, she said he was a great man, he called her everynight and the first thing they would say is yeah man. Miss Gracie was a good woman, you had to know her. I think God put me with her, we were ment to know one another. Miss Gracie has had a full life, she was 99 years old.I know she was tired and weary, God has plans for her I know. We none know the future, thats plain for us to see. But God I know you have blessed Miss Gracie, and thats plain for me to see.
this was written for Miss Gracie out of the love I had for her, I feel I was too blessed, just to know her..Donna ( the farm girl)

I will always remember Grace as an unusually kind person. Grace had no real reason to maintain an acquaintence with me, other than because of her generosity of spirit. Though I didn't know Grace well, and we actually crossed paths on relatively few occasions, she cared for our friendship with a quiet and constant warmth. She was energetic and enthusiastic about life, and came to dinner with us at age 95 dressed in high heels! She was elegant, sophisticated, and appreciative of what little I could add to her life. Grace will remain with sincere affection a special person in my memolry.
Sincerely, Paul Nitsch
