Guy Cress Obituary
CONCORD -- Mr. Guy Edgar Cress, age 86, of 246 Cabarrus Ave. W. and former resident of Gold Hill Rd., passed away Tuesday morning, March 27, 2007 at St Andrews Living Center.
His funeral will be 11 AM Saturday at St. James the Great Catholic Church with Father James Geiger officiating. Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Wilkinson Funeral Home in Concord.
Guy is survived by his wife Helen Yoder Cress, son, Tracy Cress and wife, Nancy of Concord, daughters, Janet Roberts and husband, Gill of Concord, Rebecca Jones and husband, Lew of Rochester, NY; grandsons, Sam Cress and wife Kristie, Alan Cress and wife, Nancy, Scott Smith and wife, Leigh Ann, and Adam Smith and wife Hye-Jin and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to St James Catholic Church, PO Box 123, Concord, NC 28026 or to Hospice and Palliative Care, 5003 Boy Scout Camp Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28001.
Online condolences may be registered at www.wilkinsonfuneralhome.com. Wilkinson Funeral Home is in charge of services.

Hello Tracy this is Jessica Hamilton I took care of you at Brian Center when you had your knee surgery I was the redhead that worked first shift the best that there was haha, I've learned so much about you and your company and about how your dad built it up through Jefferson Draper he's my other half I'm sure you haven't forgotten him well I'm very sorry for yours and Sam's loss and other family members. I know it's been a long time ago I just lost my dad last month exactly. I'm sure that you have good days and bad days yourself still to this day
