Heather Fox Obituary
Heather, of Charlotte, NC died Monday, November 8, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 8, 1973 in Roanoke, VA. Heather enjoyed reading, knitting, spending time with friends and lived her life to the fullest.
She is survived by her parents, David and Suzanne Fox, her twin sister, Sarah Fox Mason and her husband, Taylor, and niece, Hannah of Charlotte, NC, grandfather, Morton Fox and aunt, Karen Cobble of Roanoke, VA.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Carolinas Medical Center, Blumenthal Cancer Center and Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region for their care and compassion shown throughout her illness.
A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Harry and Bryant Company, 500 Providence Road at 2:00 p.m., with visitation from 1:00-1:45 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Heather's memory to Blumenthal Cancer Center or Hospice at Charlotte.
Harry & Bryant Company is serving the family.

Heather and I became close friends hanging out at OPC. She was a bright spirit and a force to reckon with! I loved her deeply and miss her greatly. I'm sorry I wasn't here to help her with her battle.

I meet Heather a few years ago when she worked at a center near my home. To know her truly…. was to love her. She had a warm heart and a precious sole. My heart is saddened by the news of your loss. I went to Cotswold Elementary with Heather and Sarah. Heather and I talked on the phone for as long as the phone privilege or Sarah allowed. We held hands sometimes. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Daniel

I am so very sorry to hear of Heather's passing. She and Sarah were dear friends of mine all throughout school. We had so many good times together. Heather had a way of lighting up any room she walked in to. She was just a sweet girl who lived her life to the fullest. I hope you all will take comfort in the wonderful memories you have of her. David, Suzanne, Sarah & the extended family, I am praying for peace in your hearts in this time of sorrow. Heather was a very special person & I will always cherish the fun times we spent together when we were young especially our sleep-overs & rides home together on the school bus. I was so sorry to hear of Heather's passing. She and I went to Jr. High together and I'll always remember her sweet smile. She just seemed to smile all the time. Heather will never be forgotten.

Frosty, Ryan and I are greatly saddened to hear about Heather's passing. While it has been many years since we last saw each other (I recall that it was just after the girls were born) I have often thought of you and wondered how you are getting along. Is someone that will be missed by a very large group of friends. A person that always had a smile on her face and a heart of gold. Heather could light up a room when she walked thru the door and for those of use that had the chance to know such a caring heart will never forget the time that we had with her.
