I was a great-grandniece of Helen's, and I remember seeing her at the family reunions; but I'll admit that I didn't know her well at all, and that I wish that I'd gotten to know her (because, from the description of her, I can tell that she is very missed and was very loved).

Dear Pat, Ed, Joe, Mary Jean, and Families,

We are so sorry for the loss of your Mom. We know she has not been well for the last six months or so but losing her now still leaves a great void in your lives. Aunt Helen was such a wonderful lady who was a special part of our family. She always had a warm smile for everyone and made you feel welcome in her presence. Bill will never forget being a guest in her home in New Brunswick, I beleive just after we were married, she made him feel as if he were always a part of the family. Upon leaving the dinner, his comment was " Your Aunt can cook!"
I often remember visits to her home in New Brunswick for holiday dinners or just because, and I loved going because while the ladies cleaned up we could walk down the hill behind her apartment and go to the store! It helped walk off all that delicious food.

We are so sorry we could not be there with you to celebrate her life and share these many memories. We know it will be a difficult day for you all. Please know we are lifting your family in prayer to the Omnipotent God of the Universe who loves and cares for each of you and now holds you in the palm of His hand and will keep you through these difficult days.

Love to All,
In Christ Alone,
Jeannie for the Young's
