Hemantkumar Deshpande Obituary
February 13, 1977 - February 21, 2022
Matthews, North Carolina - Hemantkumar Deshpande, beloved husband, father, brother and son, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 after a courageous battle for his health. Everyone knew Hemant, who was just 45 years old, for his brilliant, analytical mind, his unwavering commitment to his family and friends, and an unmatched work ethic that supported many around him. A New Jersey native (with the accent to prove it), Hemant attended The College of New Jersey before becoming a certified public accountant and working at hedge funds across the country. He was happiest when surrounded by his family whether traveling or simply being at home. A life cut far too short, Hemant was proud of the beautiful home he and his wife, Manisha Deshpande, had created in Matthews, North Carolina for his sons, Pranav and Prashan. He is also survived by his parents, Shaila and Arvind Deshpande, his brother Sudhir Deshpande (Arti and Previn), and all members of the Deshpande and Ratkalkar families who will greatly miss him.
