Dear Kearse Family:

Although we have not seen you on a regular basis once we changed churches about 25 years ago, you were all meshed in with our lives when we were at St. Johns Baptist. And of course we lived in the same neighborhood for many years as well.

We know you miss Henry but you have a lifetime of wonderful family memories that you will share for the rest of your lives.

We are thinking about you.

Dearest Anna Lynn, my deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family in the loss of Henry. I don't know if you remember me but I use to work along side my dear departed Jack Swett with Henry at Pneumafil. Henry was a good and decent man and always had a smile on his face. I will never forget how he and Jack use to argue over how much engineering time should put in a proposal they were doing for a Government job. They'd butt heads, over these cost and Henry always won. He knew what his people could do and protected them when he had to. I will pray for comfort for you and your family during this difficult time. Kelly Tippins

Henry was always "Mr. Kearse" to me, and "Big Daddy" to my kids. I will miss his welcoming hugs when I came to his home. I appreciated his kind, gentle demeanor, his love and his acceptance of individuality. What a wonderful influence he had on so many. I will miss you, Mr. Kearse.

One of the kindest, warmest souls I ever knew. He was a huge inspiration to me to persevere despite my struggles with engineering at NC State. He will be missed, but I am glad my young family was able to meet such a great man.

Uncle Henry,
Sadness fills my heart, but I know you are with our Lord and Saviour.
I remember the story you told me when Grandma Lipford passed away.
"When you passaway you board a liitle boat.
As you pull away from the shore you look back over your shoulder and you see tears on the faces of your loved ones.
You look the other way and see a wide river ahead of you.
So beautiful and pleasant.
As you travel down the river you see far off in the distant a bright light, shining so bright.
Soon another shore becomes visible and you see people standing there smiling ,laughing, and waving to you.
Upon docking you start to recognise the people you said goodbye to so long ago."
When my time comes to go ,I hope and pray that happens that way for me too.

Annalyn,Mark,Monty and Kathy, please accept my heart felt condolences for the loss of your husband and dad.
He was a great uncle,husband, father,and teacher.
I look forward someday to see
Uncle Henry waiting on that far off shore, waving and smiling at me.

God Bless you all,
Richard Lowery Sr.

You will be GREATLY missed Uncle Henry by me and my girls. For Lindsey and Morgan you were their "Papa Henry". We love you dearly and know you are in a better place. As Lindsey told me the other day, we will see you again.

To the Kearse family and especially to Anna Lynn, Monty, Mark and Kathy - I'm so sorry. I know what an emptiness you are feeling right now. It does get better with time. I pray that God will give you peace and comfort.

Love to you all,
Heather Listebarger
