Hilda Pace Obituary

Hilda Johnston Pace "Tootie" CHARLOTTE - "Tootie" Hilda Johnston Pace passed peacefully January 3rd, 2018, at her son's home in Belmont. "Tootie" was born in Charlotte, North Carolina June 6, 1932. She was an employee at Bryant Electric Supply for many years. She was an avid supporter of dance and musical theatre and attended every rehearsal, recital and competition. No matter how long the weekends were, she was always there to encourage and cheer us on, even after her granddaughter, Cameron graduated. Her favorite place to shop was South Park and her trips to Disney World and NYC were her most memorable. Many thanks to Dr. John B. Martinie, Dr. Nanna H. Sulai, and White Oak Manor. Preceded in death by her husband Leroy Pace and two sons, Johnny and Bobby Pace. She is survived by two sons Donnie, Joel and one daughter Kimberly, 12 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held January 12, 2018, at 11am at Maranatha Baptist Church, 3028 Rocky River Rd., Charlotte, NC 28215. We will miss you greatly. From your friends to Tootie, from her children to mom, from all the kids that loved her from Miss Donna's, NWSA and A Chance to Dance, we do not say goodbye, but until we meet again.

I am so sorry to hear about Hilda's passing. I wanted so much to come to the funeral. Hilda was a MODEL employee! She knew every customer and vendor that walked in the front door, and greeted them with a smile and good conversation. That first impression meant so much to our company and especially our Charlotte branch. Love to all, Harry Bryant, Jr

Mom, It's been 6 days and there are no words to say how very, very much I miss you. It is a pain like I've never felt but none in comparison to what you endured and I know you are now in the arms of your Lord and Savior. I will hold every memory I have in my heart and I promise to think of you every single day. You always have been and will forever be the wind beneath my wings. Reagan loves and misses you very much. Sending kisses to you in Heaven, all my love, Kim

Very sorry for the loss of such a wonderful woman.
But no longer in pain, just know she is in heaven with her hubby and sons.
She will always be a guardian angel to her loved ones.
And every time you see a Red Cardinal that will be her checking in. Xo

Mom, There are no words to say how much I miss you already. My heart is so broken and at times it feels like I can't breathe. I know you are with the Lord now but what I wouldn't give to take you for eggs toast with Reagan and to watch my kids dance. I will think of you everywhere I go because everything I love to do was with you. I will do my best to love Cameron, Kaylyn and Reagan through this and Chris, Donnie and Joel are carrying me through this difficult time. You were a light to so many and I will always love you this much, this much, this much, this much, this much and bigger than the whole wide world. You are the wind beneath my wings forever and ever. Al my love precious Mom, Kim

Mom, There are no words to say how much I miss you already. My heart is broken and I find it hard to catch my breath at times but I know you are in Heaven now with Daddy, Johnny, Bobby and your sweet Mom-Granny Mabel. Although I knew this day would come there is an emptiness and pain that is unbearable at times. What I wouldnt give to take you to eggs toast this Sunday with Reagan and to watch my students dance again. I will think of you everywhere I go because all the places I love are things we did together. I will love Cameron, Kaylyn and Reagan through this the best I know how while Chris, Donnie and Joel love and carry me through. I love you this much, this much, this much, this much, this much and bigger than the whole wide world. I will carry you in my heart forever my sweet Mother. Youre in better hands now, all my love-Kim
