Jack Hane Obituary


Jack Allen Hane
Mr. Hane, 74, of Charlotte, NC, and formerly of Frederick, MD, died on Sunday, December 21, 2003 at his daughter's residence in Hagerstown after a brief illness.
Born on December 3, 1929, he was a son of the late Carl Henry Hane and Ella Louise Miller Hane.
Mr. Hane was involved in the sales and marketing field throughout his career. Of his many accomplishments during his career, he was the president of Industrial Piping Supply for a number of years and later was the Southeastern Regional Sales Manager for RWK International where he retired from in 1994. He was active in his home owner's association in both Myrtle Beach, SC and at his main residence in Charlotte.
Surviving family members are his one daughter, Teresa A. Vogel and husband, Richard of Hagerstown; two sons, Michael A. Hane and John Anthony Hane, both of Indian Trail, NC; two granddaughters, Hannah and Abigail Vogel. He will also be remembered by his former wife, Kathleen M. Hane. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert C. Hane and one sister, Nancy Hane.
Friends may call at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD on Friday, December 26th from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. A memorial service will be held at a later date in North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 20 South Prospect Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740, or to the American Cancer Society, 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908, Eldersburg, MD 21784.

First, let me express my sympathy on the loss of Jack. I have known Jack for probably 20 years. He was always a gentleman in the way he treated others. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace and may your family find solace in the memories you have of this fine man.
