'Jackie'
BELMONT -- Mrs. Bumgardner, 80, formerly of Belmont, died March 22, 2010 at Abernathy Laurels of Newton.
She was born in Long Island, NC, daughter of the late Sylvester Glenn and Macie Jones York. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Belmont.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Carolyn Wang and Chris Bumgardner of San Francisco, CA and one great grandson, Owen Wang.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Thomas Bumgardner; son, Michael R. Bumgardner and sister, Donna York Detter.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2010 at First United Methodist Church of Belmont with Rev. Mark Andrews officiating. Visitation will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be private.
