James Ivey Obituary
Born September 12, 1911 to the late Frank Ambrus and Virgie Clementine Ivey. He is survived by wife Pauline Godfrey Ivey for over 66 years; seven children, Jimmy Ivey of Monroe, NC, Doris Jean Ross of Charlotte, NC, Wayne Ivey of Indian Trail, NC, Curtis Ivey of Garland, Texas, Marshall Ivey of Charlotte, NC, Delane Allen of Arlington, Texas, Steve Ivey of Kannapolis, NC; two sisters, Louise Haighler of Pageland, SC and Thelma Guthrie of Barton, Florida; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Dona Cunningham and Ona Johnson.
Visitation is Friday, 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Southern Piedmont Chapter, 3420 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28202.
