Mr. Jason Bryan Byers, age 38 of Charlotte, N.C died January 2, 2018. He was the much loved son of Robin and Jerry Byers. In addition to his parents, he is survived by aunts and uncles, Sharon and John Patterson, Danny and Faye Martin, Andy and Sarah Martin, beloved cousins Heather, Suzanne, Will, and Jack Patterson, Melissa, Daniel, Jesse, Ransome and Janie Martin. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Doc and Helen Martin, Eva and Coleman Byers. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Jefferson Christian Church, 8200 Jefferson Church Road, Rural Hall, N.C. with Jerry Simpkins, Minister, Steve Cook, Minister, and John Elmore, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the interment at the church. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com. Jason was my best friend through high school and college and we have had so many great times together that I'll never forget. Jerry and Robin was like a second family to me and I will miss him so so much. Life's got busy and we lost the connection after college but I thought about him all the time. Robin and Jerry,

Our boys had so many great times together as school mates, neighbors and team members. Those Dunwoody days of sledding, basketball, soccer and boys being boys are cherished. Our memories of Jason will be held close to our hearts! He will be missed!
