Jay Karwatsky Obituary
Jay was an honor graduate of Fort Mill High School, and captain of the Fort Mill High School Varsity tennis team. He was also an excellent pianist. He was a honor student at Georgia Tech, and was a member of Chi Alpha and the worship team.
Survivors include his grandmother Valentina (Babulya) and Kay Moore and Steve Karwatsky, and younger brother Andre Ziskind and extended family.
A visitation will be held Wednesday evening, June 15, 2016, 7-9 PM, at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC. Entombment will follow at 10 AM, June 16, 2016 at Forest Hills in Rock Hill, SC followed by a memorial service to celebrate Jay's life that evening at 7 PM at the Carolinas Cornerstone Church, 1790 Gardendale Road, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship of Georgia Tech at www.chialphaatl.org.

I only met Jay briefly, but I know he was a very special young man who touched many lives through the happy memories I've heard expressed by my daughter Alyssa and other friends at Westgate Church.
