Jeremiah Robb Manson
March 30, 1990 - December 28, 2024
Charlotte, North Carolina - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jeremiah Robb Manson, on December 28, 2024. A beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and dear friend of so many. While it was unexpected, he spent his final days with those he considered dearest during the Christmas Holiday. He wouldn't have wanted it any other way and certainly was happiest before he was called home. Do not mourn his absence but rejoice in the knowledge that he is no longer in pain and is walking in Heaven.
Jeremiah was born March 30, 1990, to Karen Elizabeth Tesar and Seth Craig Manson in Hartford, Connecticut. He had one sibling, his younger brother Zachariah Paul Manson.
Preceded in passing by his father, Jeremiah is survived by his mother and brother, as well as family including his Grandmother Marilyn Manson, Aunts Susan, Cheryl, and Donna Tesar, and Rebecca Epstein, Uncles David and Chris Tesar, Seth Epstein, and Bryan Manson, Cousins Jenna and Sam Epstein, Jordan Tesar, Tanya Tesar Longoria and her children Tess and Gray, Godmother Jane Bernhardt, and his dearest friends.
Jeremiah grew up as a very talented natural athlete. He was always trying different sports, from little league baseball, hockey, soccer, gymnastics, and so much more. While he was constantly proving his athletic skills, as he got older, he proved to be more interested in extreme sports. He took a natural liking to things like in-line skating, snowboarding, snowblading, and ultimately, tournament paintball.
Jeremiah, also known as Jerm to his brother, suffered a tragic car accident in 2007, which left him disabled physically. He never let that keep his spirits down and during his journey through life, he found his way to God. Jeremiah spread his love of Christ with everyone he encountered in hopes they would find the same love in the Lord as he had found. Jeremiah lived his life not only for all those around him that he loved but also for his hero, God.
Jeremiah spent several years living in nursing homes, and he spent his time there spreading his love with everyone that he met in every place he spent time. He often fought for those he lived with, trying to make sure they all had the comfort and rights that they all deserved. He was an advocate for the elderly and sick who could not hold a voice for themselves for so long, and he did everything he could to make their needs known. He joined groups that fought for people in their situations, such as Dignity for the Aged, a group that fought for elderly folks, who stuck up for many who did not have a voice in their situation, in such difficult situations in nursing homes. Despite Jeremiah's own trying situation, he gave everything he could to help all those that he could, because that's the caring, loving person that he was.
Although Jeremiah is no longer with us, his presence will echo on with every memory that survives with those who loved him, and those he loved. He was taken from this world far too soon, but after all that he endured in this life, we were all blessed to have had all the time that we did with him. Do not mourn such an early passing, because while we may be saddened by his absence, he is at peace, and happier than we can imagine, looking down on all of us, awaiting our arrival to rejoin him one day.
A celebration-of-life service will be held for Jeremiah on his birthday March 30, 2025, from 2 p.m.-6 p.m., at: Lakeside Lodge, 5301 Cane Creek Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173. Anyone who knew him, and would like to come pay their respects, please feel free to join us in remembering all the good times we had with him.
