Jerry Wesley Faulkner MONROE Mr. Jerry Wesley Faulkner entered his eternal rest through Jesus Christ on February 15, 2013. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at Christ Covenant Church, 800 Fullwood Lane, Matthews, NC. The family will host a reception immediately following the service. A native of Charlotte, Mr. Faulkner was born to the late Worth and Martha Bickett Faulkner. Friends and family would say that he was a people person and never met a stranger. Jerry was a 32nd Degree Mason and was formerly associated with Dixie News and News Group. As a member of Church of the Redeemer, he was loved by all. Mr. Faulkner is survived by his church family and his wife, Marilyn; daughter, Demeriss Epperson and husband, Lester; sons, Trent Faulkner and wife, Marigrace, Dean Faulkner and wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Taylor and Leah Epperson, Daniel and Madison Faulkner and Mitchell and Bethany Faulkner; and by his brother, James Faulkner and wife, Jan. The family suggests memorials be made to Church of the Redeemer, Building Fund, 2605 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110 or to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
