Jimmy Lansdowne Obituary
He was born November 29, 1944 in Parsons, Kansas and served four years in the Marines before moving the Charlotte in 1967. He recently retired from Piedmont Natural Gas Company after 34 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church.
Jimmy loved to work with children and worked with several youth sports associations coaching basketball, baseball and softball. He is preceded in death by his father, James Critt Lansdowne and nephew, Jeff Lansdowne.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Lansdowne of Charlotte; his son, Jimmy Wess Lansdowne II of Indian Trail; his daughter, Jacquelyn Lansdowne Stubbs of Monroe; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Chad and Kelsy Stubbs and Logan Lansdowne; his mother, Reola Lansdowne of Parson, Kansas; and two sisters, Sharon Grant and Lori Bowman, both of Parson, KS. He is also survived by three nieces, five nephews, one great niece and three great nephews.
A special thanks is extended to Dr. Stephen Limentani and Dr. Robert Fraser and their staffs for the care and compassion over the past several years.

I would like the family to know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I knew Jimmy for a while. He knew my kids Monica and Chandler...he was the very person other than me that transferred my son Chandler, from his wheelchair to his bed after his accident 3 years ago.
