So sorry for your loss. John was on the team that started up the first unit at McGuire Nuclear Station. He was one of the smartest operators I've met, taking difficult academic material and making it look easy. He taught me a lot during those early years of our careers.

John was a great friend as well as mentor. We last spoke back in Aug 2013 when I drove away from ANO. I will never forget how he greeted me there with a shout of my name and a big bear hug in the GST. Judy and I will never forget him as a wonderful dinner guest back at Crystal River. I pray for peace and blessings to his family who shared him with us at work.

I think about the last ten years working with John and how hard he pushed our team as a whole, as well as how he pushed us individually but he was just as hard on himself. I never understood until now what he wanted so desperately and it was the success of the person always, because individually, our contributions mattered to the overall success of the team. And he fought not only his own battles each day but he fought continually for us as a team right up until the end. He made sure we succeeded even when his own health was failing rapidly. God bless you John! I believe God isn't done with you yet. You left a legacy that will never be forgotten. You left an imprint so deep here in SGT as a whole, but individually in all of us who had the pleasure of working with you. Thank you for believing in all of us!
