John Gerardi Obituary
He was born on August 8, 1974 in Hyattsville, Maryland to John P. Gerardi, Jr. & Georgianna Seek Winburn. Johnny was the owner/operator of Blast Cleaning Services.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Gerardi.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Alacia Gerardi; children, Zoliandra and Niko Cappadona and Luca Gerardi; step father, Spencer Winburn; step mother, Maria Gerardi; maternal grandparents, Ralph & Rena Seek; paternal grandmother, Jane Gerardi.
A Celebration of Life for Johnny will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Gerardi Family Memorial Fund with Wells Fargo.
Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Gerardi family. Condolences may be made to the family at www.cavin-cook.com.

Today is 4-year anniversary of my son going home to Jesus! There will never come a day, hour, minute or second, I stop loving or thinking about you! There is no “moving on,” or “getting over it.” There is no bow, no fix, no solution to my heartache. There is no end to the ways I will grieve and for how long I will grieve. There is no glue for my broken heart, no elixir for my pain, no going back in time. For as long as I breathe, I will grieve and ache and love you my son with all my heart and soul. No matter how long it has been, holidays never become easier without you my son. Jesus gives me my Joy and helps me with my grief. Because there is nothing– and I mean absolutely nothing– I take for granted. Living life in this way gives me greater joy than I have ever known possible.I have you my son to thank for that. Being your mom and your son's Grandmother is the best gifts I have ever been given. Even death can’t take that away.

I think about you everyday. I miss you everyday. I love you everyday. Wish I could get one last hug. Thanks for being an awesome dad to me and my siblings. We still have the Christmas Tree up, that you helped put up. And, we still have the lights shinning on our house, they still look good. Even though it is February, we still have everything you helped put up, up. Life is really hard without you. We cry for you because you were a good man. John - was absolutely one of the most fun people I've ever been around. The kind of person you ALWAYS looked forward to hanging around, no matter the situation. We shared so much, you and I. A love for music and people, dreams. Not to mention multiple apartments! I have SO many memories and THOSE can't be taken from me. I am mad that I didn't get a chance to see you after it had been so long. I had so many things left to say to you. Since I believe in Jesus, I'm going to go ahead and assume you already know what I want to say. Best believe the words "I love you" are in there somewhere. I'm sorry to have missed a chapter of your life but I knew all along that God had a plan.
